Tolu and I sighted each other in camp at Mammy market once from afar at Oyo state - Iseyin camp Batch A stream 1 2015. Three weeks after orientation camp, I was posted to the Oyo State Ministry of Information as my PPA. While at Ministry of Info, a friend of mine hinted me that he has a friend that stays close to my residence in Ibadan, who had a car and was also posted to Min. of info. He suggested he link me up with his friend so we can carpool to work together as per to save money on transportation.  At first I declined the offer because I didn’t want to be a burden on anybody but I eventually agreed to the deal as per “saving money”. I didn’t know God had bigger plans. 😉  He picked me up at the busstop the first day, then we started going to lunch together, making mutual friends.   It all began in May 2017 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Akampa, Cross River State. We were in the same platoon but were not so close.  P.O.P day came and I was posted to Boki East Local Government Area and he was posted to Boki East too. However he wasn’t happy about it and wanted to redeploy to Lagos until he saw me! He said that meeting me that day and that moment really changed his life. Seeing me did many things to him. One, he didn’t continue the redeployment process, two, he followed me to Boki, he accompanied me to my PPA and to my amazement, he didn’t even visit his PPA till date. Service year continued and he broke the silence after some time and told me why he’s been following me. He said I’m the answer to his long term prayers (He has been in the Waiting Room 😁)… We grew to love, understand, care, cherish and become fond of one another since then.
