From camp to Mr & Mrs πŸ˜πŸ’

It all began in May 2017 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Akampa, Cross River State. We were in the same platoon but were not so close.

P.O.P day came and I was posted to Boki East Local Government Area and he was posted to Boki East too. However he wasn’t happy about it and wanted to redeploy to Lagos until he saw me!

He said that meeting me that day and that moment really changed his life.

Seeing me did many things to him. One, he didn’t continue the redeployment process, two, he followed me to Boki, he accompanied me to my PPA and to my amazement, he didn’t even visit his PPA till date.

Service year continued and he broke the silence after some time and told me why he’s been following me. He said I’m the answer to his long term prayers (He has been in the Waiting Room 😁)…

We grew to love, understand, care, cherish and become fond of one another since then. Corpers Diary even reposted a picture of ours back in 2017 without knowing something was happening πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‰ (screenshot on last slide).

He proposed in November 2020 at a surprise event that blew my mind. I said YES in the presence of friends and family around and 4 years, 5 months down the line, we finally got knotted in December last yearπŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½.

WE GIVE GLORY TO GOD! WE DIDN'T JUST FIND LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT BUT CONVICTIONS AT FIRST SIGHT!!!

Long live NYSC. 😍😍😍

Congratulations Mr & Mrs @john_imole95 & @cptextiledesigns

The beautiful NYSC love story of Mr and Mrs Enujeke 😍😍😍

My husband and I met in Niger State in 2009. He graduated from Delta State University, Abraka, and arrived at camp early. I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Unlike him, I got camp late in the afternoon and wasn’t able to complete my registration that day but secured hostel accommodation that night. The next day, after morning drills, I finished my registration where we first met. He was among the corps members assisting the new arrivals. We discovered we were in the same platoon— the great Platoon 8 πŸ˜ƒ —and from the same state, Delta State. However, I was born and raised in the north, while he had lived all his life in the south. We would walk together to morning drills and head to Mami Market with friends before resting at the hostel. What began as friendship during camp grew into feelings over the three weeks of orientation. When PPA postings were announced, he was assigned to COE in Minna, while I was posted to Bosso LG Secretariat. Despite being in different LGAs...

We met in NYSC and our fathers were friends from wayback πŸ’–πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ˜

We met precisely in 2019 during the INEC training for corps members towards the 2019 Elections at Government Secondary School Apata, Ibadan. I noticed her from a distance however I couldn’t summon the courage to speak with her but with the help of one of my friends who was also serving at that time I was able to speak with her.  She was a bit reserved but she communicated well with my friends and I. We had our first outing on February 14, 2019. The ride wasn’t a very smooth one but we became friends and gradually we got closer and we became lovers.  The success of our relationship can be traced to many things. First, although we are both Yorubas - she (Kwara State) while I am from Ekiti - after our service year, we both reside and work in Ilorin - which made the relationship smoother. Another factor which made me conclude that God's hand was indeed in our relationship was that we found out that my father and her father knew each other from way back. This made our union...

We met in NYSC, separated but came back together πŸ˜πŸ€£πŸ’πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

Femi and I struck a friendship during our NYSC orientation exercise in 2013. Even though there was always an initial attraction; we were both committed to other things and people and we left it as a good friendship. However, we kept in touch and in 2014, while Femi was away furthering his studies, we got closer and spoke every day. At this point, we were both single and decided to commit to each other. Our friends and family became well acquainted with each other and it felt like a fairy tale. Sadly, we parted ways a few years later. We were quite young and there were a lot of sacrifices we both weren’t willing to make then. However, the love and friendship we had never wavered; and our families always kept in touch and believed that God would guide us back to each other. We started dating other people so we barely communicated due to the respect we owed our previous relationships. My relationship at the time ended terribly and surprisingly, Femi who hadn’t spoken to me in over a...
