From NYSC account officer to LOML

 I met my husband Abisoye in 2013 during my NYSC programme in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. I was assigned to the bank where he was worked to open my NYSC salary account.  On getting there, the account officer that was meant to attend to my request was not available. While waiting for him, Abisoye showed up and introduced himself and offered to assist with the account opening process. As a result, he got my contact details and agreed to inform me once my account is created so I could complete my NYSC documentation. True to his words, he called me few days later to inform me that my welcome pack was ready for pick up. Hausa Christian and Yoruba Muslim: How Genesis & Ganiyah met in NYSC and got married. 👇

It all started when I got posted to Yobe state, I did direct posting to Lagos but it didn’t work. I met Genesis on 24/05/21, he was the Sport Director of my platoon (Platoon 6 of 21A, stream 2) On the day of our ManOWar drill, I was doing snaps on my phone. He moved close to me and said I was not as fine as the filter was making me and I told him “I am a very beautiful girl with or without the filter." During the drill he was behind me and was hyping me, giving me morale to go on (it was sweet) we took lots of pictures together. 👨: After the drill we were asked to fill the relocation form but I didn’t want to fill my own and she was very worried even when we’ve not started talking.
