We met in camp and I jokingly called her my wife before my friends - Read π the love story of Mr π Mrs. Shonaike
I graduated from school in 2015 but my result processing was delayed until 2018. I was depressed because my neighbors started doubting the claim that I've graduated as I was yet to go for NYSC.
I was finally mobilized in January 2018. A friend saw my name on the graduating list and called me after which I confirmed from another friend.
I was happy on getting the news. Yes a proud moment in my life when I was deployed to Akwa-Ibom State.
Three months later, a new batch - Batch C Stream 1, were deployed and after their orientation camp, my church (Winners Fellowship) chose me among the people to go to camp to bring new corps member to their PPA.
While I was in the camp standing and carrying a placard displaying my PPA, a young beautiful lady approached me and showed me her PPA letter and I told her that she's at the right place, I helped with her luggage and we embarked on the journey back to my PPA and on getting to our PPA late night I told my fellow corps members jokingly that I brought my wife and no one should go close to her ...Lolsππ
So one fateful day, I went up to her and told her my intention and we both agreed to be friends ...lo and behold our love life beginsπ and this beautiful lady convinced me that there are still RESPONSIBLE, PRAYERFUL and RESPECTFUL ladies out there and I made up my mind that I won't let her go because she motivates me everyday to be a better version of myself.
Three months after my P.O.P (October 2019), I got a job! π
One glorious day, I told her I want to meet her family and we both met, it's now looking so realπ€©π€©π€©
Fast forward to 2020, I'm a little bit comfortable; I can take care of myself and my wife and got my own apartment ...then I told my parents I want to get married and the planning began.
We got marriedπ on a memorable day which was on her birthday October 10,2020. So every October 10, we will celebrate her birthday and our wedding anniversary.
Delay is not denial! Long live NYSC!
