How we met in NYSC camp - by the WINLOS

One day, in the course of my NYSC, my pastor called me into his office. Upon arrival, I saw a fair lady with beautiful but teary eyes. Then my pastor said, “Ohis! This is Anwinli. She just joined the church but she’s heartbroken. Her fiance left her. I need you to take care of her and fix her up in church". He did this because at the time everyone used to refer to me as “The Minister of Women Affairs.”Because of my jovial personality, I was always loved by the ladies in church for godly reasons ooo🙈😃. Amennnnnn?? But you see that "fix her up" part he said, I heard it clearly and followed instructions. Today she is fixed and it also marks the 10th year we've been happily married 😍 Ten solid years. Amidst the storm and rain, we have grown in strength. God has been kind to us and He has helped us stay faithful to the covenant of marriage we made. Sweetheart, you are the answer to my prayer. You combine the fear of God with charm and beauty. A warrior on heels. What a...

How we met in Edo State camp 😍🇳🇬

The journey of Boluwatife and I into spousehood and wedlock can only be traced back to our time in NYSC orientation camp, Edo State - 2021 Batch C Stream 1. I spotted this beautiful damsel while we were having the mandatory COVID-19 test upon our arrival in camp. Although I tested negative for COVID, a stronger virus called "Love at first sight" had crept into my soul. By way of divine arrangement, we were both later deployed to the same platoon. A few days after we got to camp, I told my friend about this lady in my platoon but I was still trying to study and observe her. My friend's reply to me was "ahh you better be fast in anything you want to do about her". His words pumped me up, so I promised to take action fast. One day, all the corps members were asked to come inside the hall for SAED registration. During the lecture I sat beside my friend. I looked back and saw Bolu coming in through the door. I alerted my friend who swiftly called her to come and sit ...

Our beautiful NYSC love story 😍🇳🇬 14 years after

I graduated from Madonna University in 2005 while my husband graduated from Auchi Polytechnic. I was supposed to serve immediately but somewhere down the line, I couldn’t make it. You could say fate; perhaps destiny. It is what it is! The following year I went for my service in Ikire, Osun state. So I met Corper Rasak Obaro (now hubby😍) already serving because he was in Batch A and I in Batch B.  This love thing didn’t just click at that point. It's not love at first sight like you would want to hear because apparently I was in another relationship. Mr Corper wanted more than being just friends but I was stern with my decision not to double date. Although he had very good qualities. As a friend, he was always there for me - ready to help out in the slightest way possible (not financially though because e no get shishi). Oga would help fetch water from the well and the likes. We kept at being friends till we passed out even though he would have wished we took it to the next level. ...
