How NYSC brought us together 💍💍💍 Read 👇👇 the love story of Mr & Mrs Onyekwere ❤️😘

When our call-up letter came out in June 2016, we were already in a Facebook Corpers group where everyone posted to Akwa Ibom were asked to drop their numbers to be added to a WhatsApp group and we officially started talking in that group.

However, an ugly incident happened one day on the group where I passed a rude & careless comment at her during a discussion about small businesses we can do in camp and she left the group in anger. Feeling sorry for my misdeed, I sent her a DM and apologized to her. She accepted my apology and we agreed to meet in camp.

We got to camp around 10pm, I called her  to come out so I can see her, she came out and we spoke that night.

I completed my Camp Registration before her and hurriedly went to assist her to do hers. Gave her my shoe because it was small and took her over sized shoe to manage.

While on camp, I was platoon 10 Parade commander. I did all I could to impress her so she could like me but she wasn't moved. So I started praying they should post us to the same LGA. Little did I know she was praying to be taken to a different local government so we will not see again.

Posting letter came and I got Uyo while she got Eket. I quickly opened Google to check the map and found out that Uyo to Eket is just 50mins drive. I gave myself hope that I can always visit her and build the relationship very well.

We properly started dating in July 2016. We passed out of NYSC and remained in touch.

January 1st 2020, I asked her if she could spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES.

August 2020 we tied the Knot traditionally and on February 13th 2021, we had our white wedding.

Indeed God is faithful. Long live NYSC

The beautiful NYSC love story of Mr and Mrs Enujeke 😍😍😍

My husband and I met in Niger State in 2009. He graduated from Delta State University, Abraka, and arrived at camp early. I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Unlike him, I got camp late in the afternoon and wasn’t able to complete my registration that day but secured hostel accommodation that night. The next day, after morning drills, I finished my registration where we first met. He was among the corps members assisting the new arrivals. We discovered we were in the same platoon— the great Platoon 8 😃 —and from the same state, Delta State. However, I was born and raised in the north, while he had lived all his life in the south. We would walk together to morning drills and head to Mami Market with friends before resting at the hostel. What began as friendship during camp grew into feelings over the three weeks of orientation. When PPA postings were announced, he was assigned to COE in Minna, while I was posted to Bosso LG Secretariat. Despite being in different LGAs...

How I 'dramatically' met my wife in NYSC Sokoto

It all started on Wednesday, 2nd February 2022. I was posted to Sokoto for NYSC camp, but I had planned to be a “ghost Corper” since I lived in Kebbi, just two hours away. My plan was to only show up for clearances and return home. I was posted to Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE), Sokoto, for my PPA with my friend Firdausi.  After documentation, we were to choose a CDS group. Firdausi picked Freedom of Information Vanguard (FOIV) because it was close to the Corper’s lodge and advised me to do the same, so I did. I still wanted to relocate to Kebbi, but Firdausi encouraged me to attend CDS at least a few times to know how things worked. One Wednesday, we trekked to the CDS venue at Bado Quarters. I arrived late.  As I entered, I saw her—Saudat. A calm, beautiful young lady. I froze thinking, “If she agrees to date me, I’ll marry her after NYSC,” but another thought said, “Forget it, girls this fine here are probably married already.” Throughout the meeting, I k...

We met in NYSC and our fathers were friends from wayback 💖🇳🇬😍

We met precisely in 2019 during the INEC training for corps members towards the 2019 Elections at Government Secondary School Apata, Ibadan. I noticed her from a distance however I couldn’t summon the courage to speak with her but with the help of one of my friends who was also serving at that time I was able to speak with her.  She was a bit reserved but she communicated well with my friends and I. We had our first outing on February 14, 2019. The ride wasn’t a very smooth one but we became friends and gradually we got closer and we became lovers.  The success of our relationship can be traced to many things. First, although we are both Yorubas - she (Kwara State) while I am from Ekiti - after our service year, we both reside and work in Ilorin - which made the relationship smoother. Another factor which made me conclude that God's hand was indeed in our relationship was that we found out that my father and her father knew each other from way back. This made our union...
