How we met while jogging during NYSC

Victor and I met at Afikpo north, Ebonyi state, "2019 Batch A", during our service year. We were posted to the same community, the same CDS but different PPA.

Our relationship, started in a way that I still find thrilling looking back to our first meeting and conversation as friends.

We started talking while jogging one Saturday morning with fellow corpers. I was taking a break then he walked up to me and asked "Victoria are you tired?" and I replied yes. He laughed at me but later on I requested for his earphone to keep me busy while jogging, after some minutes he came back to me that he needs his earphone and I returned it.

The next Saturday we met and greeted each other. I told him that I needed to loose my hair, he told me not to worry and volunteered to help with the loosing which I agreed. It was the best 2 hours of my life as he did a good job with the hair. I made dinner for us and a friend who has been with us all evening.

Victor came to me some weeks after that he likes me and wishes we can become Lovers. I laughed and responded 'HMMMM'' adding that he should let me think about it and he replied "Okay".

I thought about it and gave him a response after some months. He was amazed and overwhelmed and said wow.

However, something almost put me off which was the distance between us - he's based in Kaduna while I stay in Lagos but I prayed about it that if it's God's will it will surely work out and by His grace everything went smoothly and we were together till we finished from service.

After NYSC, our love grew so great despite the distance that he concluded to move close to me, so he left Kaduna to Ogun state searching for job and God did it, and I was happy and our relationship continued and getting strong.

We courted for 3years and he proposed to me on my birthday 25/11/21 and we got married on 14/05/22. We are so happy together and our friends and colleagues are so happy for us because it actually looked impossible but like Minister Nathaniel Bassey sang "what we waited for, has come to pass."

See what the Lord has done" #VeeVeeLOVESTORY. Congratulations @Vickyomowonuola @Vickyozil

The beautiful NYSC love story of Mr and Mrs Enujeke 😍😍😍

My husband and I met in Niger State in 2009. He graduated from Delta State University, Abraka, and arrived at camp early. I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Unlike him, I got camp late in the afternoon and wasn’t able to complete my registration that day but secured hostel accommodation that night. The next day, after morning drills, I finished my registration where we first met. He was among the corps members assisting the new arrivals. We discovered we were in the same platoon— the great Platoon 8 😃 —and from the same state, Delta State. However, I was born and raised in the north, while he had lived all his life in the south. We would walk together to morning drills and head to Mami Market with friends before resting at the hostel. What began as friendship during camp grew into feelings over the three weeks of orientation. When PPA postings were announced, he was assigned to COE in Minna, while I was posted to Bosso LG Secretariat. Despite being in different LGAs...

We met in NYSC and our fathers were friends from wayback 💖🇳🇬😍

We met precisely in 2019 during the INEC training for corps members towards the 2019 Elections at Government Secondary School Apata, Ibadan. I noticed her from a distance however I couldn’t summon the courage to speak with her but with the help of one of my friends who was also serving at that time I was able to speak with her.  She was a bit reserved but she communicated well with my friends and I. We had our first outing on February 14, 2019. The ride wasn’t a very smooth one but we became friends and gradually we got closer and we became lovers.  The success of our relationship can be traced to many things. First, although we are both Yorubas - she (Kwara State) while I am from Ekiti - after our service year, we both reside and work in Ilorin - which made the relationship smoother. Another factor which made me conclude that God's hand was indeed in our relationship was that we found out that my father and her father knew each other from way back. This made our union...

We met in NYSC, separated but came back together 😍🤣💍🇳🇬

Femi and I struck a friendship during our NYSC orientation exercise in 2013. Even though there was always an initial attraction; we were both committed to other things and people and we left it as a good friendship. However, we kept in touch and in 2014, while Femi was away furthering his studies, we got closer and spoke every day. At this point, we were both single and decided to commit to each other. Our friends and family became well acquainted with each other and it felt like a fairy tale. Sadly, we parted ways a few years later. We were quite young and there were a lot of sacrifices we both weren’t willing to make then. However, the love and friendship we had never wavered; and our families always kept in touch and believed that God would guide us back to each other. We started dating other people so we barely communicated due to the respect we owed our previous relationships. My relationship at the time ended terribly and surprisingly, Femi who hadn’t spoken to me in over a...
